The Centre Coordinator, Mr. Kareem Fatai Adebayo, expressed deep gratitude to the College Provost and Director of Continuing Education for providing the necessary resources to ensure a smooth second-semester examination process.

Looking ahead, the admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session has officially commenced. The study centre offers a wide range of National Certificate in Education (NCE) programs, including courses in Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Technology, Vocational Education, and more. These programs are designed to cater to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with flexible learning opportunities.

On October 5, 2024, the Ipapo community witnessed a landmark event with the commissioning of Good News Comprehensive High School by His Royal Majesty, Oba Yekini Ademola Abioye II, the Eleyinpo of Ipapo Land. The new institution is set to elevate educational standards and create employment opportunities for local youths. Prominent figures, including high chiefs, clerics, and families, attended the event, which featured a symbolic tree-planting ceremony and prayers from religious leaders. This milestone promises growth and development for the Ipapo community.

In celebration of World Teachers’ Day, Amofin Beulah Adeoye, President of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, extended heartfelt appreciation to teachers, highlighting their crucial role in shaping society. Reflecting on the theme set by UNESCO, “Valuing Teacher Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education,” Adeoye emphasized the need for greater recognition and reforms to uplift the teaching profession. Drawing from personal experience as the child of educators, he underscored the sacrifices teachers make and called on the government to implement necessary reforms to honor their vital contributions to the nation’s growth.

The Ipapo Development Association (IDA) has urged the Future Leaders Development Initiative Ipapo to implement the recommendations from the Ipapo Education Committee’s report. This move is aimed at improving discipline and raising educational standards in Ipapo’s public secondary schools. During a meeting on October 2, 2024, Alhaji Azeez R.A. emphasized the importance of convening a stakeholders’ meeting to review the report and implement reforms before the new academic session progresses further. The report focuses on enhancing student behavior, teacher effectiveness, and parental involvement.

The Ipapo Education Committee recently visited public secondary schools in Ipapo, Nigeria, to commend school principals and Barrister Olufemi Beulah Adeoye for their efforts in improving education. Principals at Ipapo Community Grammar School and Muslim High School were praised for maintaining excellent discipline, while Barrister Adeoye was recognized for renovating classrooms to create a better learning environment. The schools, supported by the Ipapo community, continue to request more teachers and further renovations to meet growing student needs.
