Renovation Work to Resume Soon at Ipapo Heritage Hall

The joint committees overseeing the renovation of the Ipapo Community Heritage Hall have expressed their sincere gratitude to all Ipapolites, both at home and abroad, for their contributions and donations towards the ongoing project.

In an interview with our correspondent on Saturday, 31st August 2024, Mr. Salau Isiaka, Secretary of the Ipapo Descendants Union, provided an update on the project’s status. He thanked Barrister Abiodun Ogunjinmi for his efforts in mobilizing people to donate, ensuring the project’s completion.

Mr. Isiaka announced that work will resume this week, despite the limited funds available, due to the unstable prices of construction materials. He expressed surprise at the significant increase in costs of materials purchased prior to the renovation.

The Secretary appealed to all Ipapolites, including those in Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, South Africa, the United States, and other locations, to contribute according to their capacities. He assured them that their donations will be acknowledged and rewarded abundantly by God.

The committees are committed to completing the renovation, and with the continued support of the community, the Ipapo Heritage Hall will soon be restored to its former glory.
