Oyo State College of Education Management Pays Congratulatory Visit to Itesiwaju LG Boss

The management team of Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate Ipapo Study Centre, paid a congratulatory visit to Honourable Ojo Monsuru, the Executive Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at his office in Otu.

The delegation was led by the centre coordinator, Mr. Kareem Fatai Adebayo, and included:

During the visit, Mr. Adebayo extended his heartfelt congratulations to Chairman Ojo Monsuru on his victory in the last local government election. He urged the chairman to utilize his mandate effectively by executing projects that would benefit the community, especially in the education sector.

The management team expressed their profound gratitude to Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde for approving the establishment of the college’s study centre in Itesiwaju. They highlighted how this initiative is set to enhance the socio-economic development of the local government area.

In his response, Chairman Ojo Monsuru appreciated the visit and acknowledged the efforts of both the college management team and Governor Makinde in selecting Itesiwaju as one of the beneficiaries of the NCE Study Centre. He expressed his awareness of the ongoing activities at the Ipapo Study Centre.

Additionally, the chairman congratulated the institution on successfully producing candidates who benefited from the latest teachers’ recruitment exercise. He further encouraged the general public to take advantage of the NCE programs offered at the study centre.

The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both the local government administration and the academic institution toward improving education and providing better opportunities for the residents of Itesiwaju Local Government.
