International Peace Day: Amofin Beulah Adeoye Hails Gov. Makinde As Peace Ambassador, Promoter of Peaceful Coexistence
At the International Day of Peace Celebration held at the Oyo State Government Secretariat in Ibadan, Amofin Beulah Adeoye, President of The Beulah Adeoye Foundation, lauded Governor Seyi Makinde as a “peace ambassador” and a strong advocate for peaceful coexistence. In his address, Adeoye emphasized the vital role of leaders in promoting values such as justice, equity, and tolerance, urging both religious and political figures to follow the governor’s example. He highlighted the recently enacted Rule of Law Enforcement Authority Bill, noting its significance in fostering order and safety in society. Adeoye also underscored the importance of the Oyo State Agency for Socio-Economic Development (OYMASED) in enhancing peaceful coexistence and development in the state, calling for a collective commitment to these ideals during this year’s Peace Day celebration.
