Amofin Beulah Adeoye, a renowned legal luminary, officially joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State on Monday.
The event, held at the party secretariat in Otu, saw Amofin Adeoye warmly received by party leaders, local executives, and members. He was handed over to the Party Chairman, Hon. Ganiyu Owolabi, and other leaders by Ward 3 Chairman, Hon. Ogundokun Owolabi.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Ganiyu Owolabi described Amofin Adeoye as a “true son of the soil,” recounting his engagements with party leaders, ward executives, and critical stakeholders in Itesiwaju LG. Hon. Ganiyu further pledged the party’s unwavering support for Amofin Adeoye’s gubernatorial ambition, emphasizing the importance of party supremacy and urging prayers from all residents of Itesiwaju LG and Oyo State for his success.
In a symbolic gesture, the PDP membership card was formally presented to Amofin Adeoye by the Party Chairman and other leaders, marking his official integration into the party.
Hon. Akinleye Taiwo, expressing his joy, remarked, “I am one of the happiest persons today because no one believed a gubernatorial aspirant could emerge from Itesiwaju Local Government Area. This is our project, and we must all rally behind him. May God continue to perfect his ways.”
Similarly, Hon. Idowu Azeez, former Executive Chairman of Itesiwaju LG, shared his personal connection with the Adeoye family. He praised Amofin Adeoye’s father and uncle for their integrity and developmental contributions, recommending Amofin to everyone seeking genuine progress for Oyo State.
In his remarks, Amofin Beulah Adeoye described his ambition as “God’s own project,” pledging not to abandon it and calling for collective support. “This is not a one-man job. We need a collective effort to achieve this. Governor Seyi Makinde is aware of my visitation to Itesiwaju LG,” he assured.
As part of his contributions, Amofin Adeoye donated ₦2 million, 200 bags of rice, 24 dozens of chairs, and 10 public address systems to benefit the ten wards in Itesiwaju LG.
Hon. Ogundoke Dele Hassan commended Amofin Adeoye for his generosity towards the people of Oke-Ogun, while the Party Chairman, Hon. Ganiyu Owolabi, extended gratitude on behalf of PDP Itesiwaju LG.
The event marked a significant milestone for both the party and the people of Itesiwaju LG, with Amofin Beulah Adeoye’s vision and contributions inspiring hope for the future.
