The Ipapo Divisional Police Headquarters will inaugurate its Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The chairman of the PCRC, Chief Afonja Rahmon, announced this, inviting the public to attend the ceremony.
Since its approval by the Nigeria Police Force barely a year ago, the Ipapo Divisional Police Headquarters has recorded significant progress and achievements, particularly in its zero-tolerance approach to criminal activities. This success is largely attributed to the leadership of the current DPO, CSP Adebisi Taiwo.

One of the notable achievements of the DPO is the active involvement of community members in community policing, which led to the establishment of the PCRC. The committee’s executive members include:
- Chief Rahmon Afonja as Chairman
- Mr. Olayiwola Akeem Olajide as Secretary
- Mr. Ibrahim Kolajo as PRO 1
- Chief Olukotun Oke Amu as Vice Chairman

The inauguration ceremony is expected to be graced by notable dignitaries such as:
- Hon. Ojo Monsuru, Executive Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government, Oyo State
- HRM Oba Yekini Ademola Abioye II, the Eleyinpo of Ipapo Land (Chairman of the Council of Obas in Itesiwaju Local Government and Host)
- HRM Oba Gasali Omotoso, the Olugunwa of Oke Amu Land
- DPOs from Okaka, Otu, Komu, and Iseyin
- Police Area Commander
- PCRC chairmen from various Divisional Police Headquarters and area commands
- Oyo State PCRC executive body
