AOPSHON AND IEC COMMEND SURVEYOR SIYANBOLA, TAIWO AJAYI, AND BARRISTER BEULAH OLUFEMI ADEOYE FOR SUPPORTING EDUCATION

The Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON), Ipapo Oke Amu Zone, has expressed deep appreciation to Surveyor Siyanbola, Taiwo Ajayi, and Barrister Beulah Olufemi Adeoye for their invaluable contributions to the development of education in the area. These gestures have been described as pivotal to improving the learning environment for students and supporting schools’ needs.

According to Mr. Kareem Fatai Adebayo, Secretary of AOPSHON, Surveyor Siyanbola recently donated learning materials to 23 primary schools in the zone. The donation, which included packets of chalk and pens, has significantly alleviated the challenges faced by teachers in providing quality education. Mr. Kareem noted that this kind of consistent support is a testament to Surveyor Siyanbola’s commitment to education and the well-being of students.

Speaking on behalf of the association, AOPSHON Chairperson Mrs. Balogun T.O. expressed profound gratitude to Surveyor Siyanbola for his generosity and urged other notable members of the community to emulate his example by contributing to educational development. Mrs. Balogun also extended her appreciation to the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for the recent mass recruitment of teachers into primary schools. She prayed that the newly recruited teachers would uphold their responsibilities diligently upon their deployment.

In a related development, the management of Muslim High School Ipapo has announced an upcoming inter-house sports competition, inviting parents, guardians, and members of the public to attend. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, 11th December 2024, at 2:00 pm on the school playing ground. The sports committee urged participating houses to exhibit good sportsmanship throughout the event.

The Education Committee Chairman, Mr. Rafiu Tijani, also commended Taiwo Ajayi of Pat Media Foundation for his donation of cash to provide furniture for Migrant Farmers Basic School Abioye Folemole Ipapo. Additionally, he acknowledged Barrister Beulah Olufemi Adeoye for his instrumental role in renovating a block of three classrooms at Ipapo Community Grammar School.

Mr. Tijani expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of individuals and organizations in complementing the government’s efforts to provide quality education. He emphasized that such contributions reflect the power of community-driven initiatives in fostering better opportunities for children in the zone.

This commendable synergy between individuals, organizations, and the government continues to highlight the importance of collective responsibility in advancing the educational standards of the Ipapo Oke Amu Zone.
