A.D.S. Comprehensive School Student, Oyinlola Leah Emerges as Winner in Amofin Beulah Adeoye Unity Debate Competition in Kajola LGA

The Beulah Adeoye Foundation recently held the Amofin Beulah Adeoye Unity Debate Competition, bringing students from secondary schools across Kajola Local Government Area together in a showcase of oratory skill, patriotism, and cultural pride. The event, hosted at Onjo High School in Okeho, follows its initial launch in Ipapo, Itesiwaju LGA, and aims to extend its reach across the Oke-Ogun region.

The educational project is designed to promote healthy competition, refine talents, and foster patriotism among secondary school students. The topics of the debate were “Why I Love My State: A Journey Through Its History and Achievements” and “My Identity and Pride: The Place of My Birth.”

Mr. Ridwan Fasasi, Chief of Staff to the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, highlighted the foundation’s commitment to expanding this educational program to the remaining nine local government areas within the Oke-Ogun zone. “Our goal is to empower students by nurturing their talents, building confidence, and fostering a sense of community through their heritage,” Mr Fasasi said.

The top-performing students, based on scores awarded by the panel of judges, were:

  1. Oyinlola Leah – A.D.S Comprehensive High School, Ilero – 1st Place (93 points)
  2. Adegoke Fathiat – Onjo High School, Okeho – 2nd Place (86 points)
  3. Abiola Kabirat – Iwa Community Grammar School, Ayetoro-Oke – 3rd Place (83 points)
  4. Adegoke Rebecca – Onjo High School, Okeho – 4th Place (80 points)
  5. Azeez Iradat – A.D.S Comprehensive High School, Ilero – 5th Place (67 points)
  6. Ayanwale Martins – Iwa Community Grammar School, Ayetoro-Oke – 6th Place (55 points)

The event drew a significant audience, including leaders, school representatives, and dignitaries, all showing support for the young participants. By continuing to expand this program, the Beulah Adeoye Foundation reinforces its mission to inspire and uplift students across Oyo State, aiming to shape a new generation that values education, unity, and a shared sense of identity.
