Adejumo Eunice, the overall winner of the 2025 WAEC Scholarship Award, extended her heartfelt appreciation to Alhaji Uthman Amuda Adebanjo, founder of the Amuda Adebanjo Educational Development Foundation (AAEDF), for his dedication to advancing education across Itesiwaju Local Government.
An SS3 student of Community Grammar School, Otu, Adejumo emerged as the top performer in the examination conducted by the foundation to identify deserving students. Speaking at the 7th edition of the award ceremony held on February 15, 2025, at the Community Town Hall in Otu, Adejumo’s words of gratitude moved many in attendance. She wished the foundation and its organizers abundant rewards for their generosity and emphasized how the scholarship had positively influenced her academic journey.

Mr. Opoola, a parent at the event, expressed his gratitude to teachers, school administrators, and the wider community for their collective efforts, which contributed to the success of the award ceremony.
Mr. Mufutau Lukmon Babatunde, a teacher from Muslim High School, Ipapo, recommended that future scholarship awards be presented earlier in the year to allow WAEC candidates ample time to utilize the financial support for timely registration. He concluded by commending the foundation for its invaluable contribution to students’ education.
The ceremony underscored the AAEDF’s ongoing commitment to empowering students and fostering academic excellence within Itesiwaju Local Government.
